Born from the hive.
We believe the most effective skincare ingredients have existed for thousands of years — we simply had to listen.
How it began
BeeWellness was founded by two friends who shared a deep curiosity about apitherapy — the ancient practice of using bee-derived substances for health and healing. After years of research and formulation, they launched their first product from a small studio in Vermont.
Every formula begins with a single question: what does the skin actually need? The answer, time and again, led back to the hive. Propolis to protect. Royal jelly to renew. Raw honey to restore. Beeswax to seal.
Today, BeeWellness works directly with small-scale, ethical apiaries to source every ingredient. Nothing is hidden. Every batch is traceable from hive to bottle.

Traceable sourcing
Every bee-derived ingredient is sourced from named apiaries we visit personally. We know where it comes from — and so can you.
Minimal formulation
We include only what the skin needs. No fillers, no synthetic fragrance, no ingredient that exists purely to extend shelf life.
Cruelty-free, always
Our apiaries follow ethical beekeeping practices that prioritise colony health. No bees are harmed in the making of our products.
Sustainable packaging
Glass, recycled paper, and compostable inserts. We are working toward fully plastic-free packaging by 2026.

Propolis
Cera propolis
A resinous compound bees use to seal and protect the hive. Rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids, propolis is a powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial agent that helps defend skin against environmental stressors.
Royal Jelly
Apis mellifera secretion
Secreted exclusively to nourish the queen bee, royal jelly is dense with proteins, fatty acids, and 10-HDA — a compound studied for its role in cellular renewal and skin elasticity.
Raw Honey
Mel crudum
Unfiltered and unpasteurised, raw honey retains its full complement of enzymes, amino acids, and natural humectants. It draws moisture into the skin and creates an environment inhospitable to bacteria.
Beeswax
Cera alba
The structural material of the hive. Beeswax forms a breathable, protective barrier on the skin that locks in moisture without clogging pores — the original occlusive, perfected by nature.
