FAQ — BeeWellness Skincare

Question 1

What makes bee-derived ingredients special for skincare?

Accepted Answer

Bees produce some of nature's most bioactive compounds. Honey is a natural humectant that draws moisture into the skin and contains enzymes with gentle exfoliating properties. Propolis is rich in flavonoids and polyphenols with powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial benefits. Beeswax forms a breathable protective barrier that locks in moisture without clogging pores. Royal jelly is packed with amino acids, vitamins, and fatty acids that support skin renewal. Together, these ingredients work synergistically to nourish, protect, and restore skin at a cellular level.

Question 2

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes — all BeeWellness formulas are developed with sensitive skin in mind. We avoid synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates, and harsh preservatives. Our ingredient lists are intentionally minimal so you always know exactly what you're putting on your skin. That said, everyone's skin is unique. We recommend patch-testing any new product on the inside of your wrist for 24 hours before applying it to your face, especially if you have known allergies to bee products.

Question 3

Are your products vegan?

Accepted Answer

Our products are not fully vegan, as they contain bee-derived ingredients including honey, propolis, beeswax, and royal jelly. We work exclusively with ethical, small-scale apiaries that prioritize bee welfare and sustainable harvesting practices. We believe that when sourced responsibly, bee-derived ingredients represent a powerful partnership between humans and nature — not exploitation. All BeeWellness products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals.

Question 4

Where do you source your ingredients?

Accepted Answer

We partner with a small network of certified apiaries and botanical farms where we can trace every ingredient back to its source. Our honey and propolis come from wildflower apiaries in the Pacific Northwest, where bees forage on diverse, pesticide-free flora. Our botanical extracts are sourced from certified organic farms. We visit our suppliers regularly and publish full ingredient traceability on our website because we believe transparency is the foundation of trust.

Question 5

Do your products contain any allergens I should know about?

Accepted Answer

Our products contain bee-derived ingredients (honey, propolis, beeswax, royal jelly) which may cause reactions in individuals with bee or pollen allergies. If you have a known allergy to bee products, please consult your dermatologist before using BeeWellness skincare. We also note that some of our botanical extracts may contain trace amounts of tree nuts or seed oils — full ingredient lists are available on each product page. When in doubt, patch-test first.

Question 6

How do I use the Golden Serum?

Accepted Answer

Apply 3–4 drops of the Golden Serum to clean, slightly damp skin morning and evening. Warm the serum between your fingertips and press gently into your face and neck using upward strokes. Allow it to absorb for 60 seconds before layering your moisturizer on top. For best results, use consistently for at least 4 weeks. The serum is lightweight enough to layer under SPF in the morning and pairs beautifully with the Honey Balm at night for an intensive moisture treatment.

Question 7

How do I use the Honey Balm?

Accepted Answer

The Honey Balm is a versatile multi-use treatment. Use it as a lip balm throughout the day, as an overnight hand treatment, or as a targeted spot treatment for dry patches on elbows, cuticles, and heels. For an intensive overnight facial treatment, apply a thin layer over your serum as the final step in your evening routine. A little goes a long way — start with a small amount and build as needed. The balm can also be used to tame flyaways and condition dry ends.

Question 8

How do I use the Propolis Elixir?

Accepted Answer

Apply 2–3 drops of the Propolis Elixir to clean skin after cleansing and before moisturizing. It can be used morning and evening. In the morning, follow with SPF. In the evening, layer the Golden Serum on top for a powerful antioxidant and barrier-support combination. If you're targeting breakouts or blemishes, apply a small amount directly to the affected area using a clean fingertip. The elixir absorbs quickly and won't pill under makeup.

Question 9

Can I use multiple BeeWellness products together?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — our products are formulated to work together. A recommended layering order is: cleanse, Propolis Elixir (thinnest), Golden Serum, Honey Balm (thickest). Apply thinnest to thickest to ensure each product absorbs properly. All three products are compatible with each other and with most external skincare products. If you're introducing multiple new products at once, we suggest adding one at a time over a week so you can identify how your skin responds to each.

Question 10

How long will one product last?

Accepted Answer

With regular twice-daily use, the Golden Serum (30ml) lasts approximately 6–8 weeks. The Propolis Elixir (30ml) lasts 6–8 weeks with twice-daily use. The Honey Balm (15g) lasts 2–3 months depending on how many uses you find for it. All products display a PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging indicating how many months the product remains effective after first use. Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their potency.

Question 11

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Standard shipping within the US takes 5–7 business days. Expedited shipping (2–3 business days) is available at checkout for an additional fee. Express overnight shipping is available for orders placed before 12pm EST Monday through Thursday. Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our fulfillment center.

Question 12

Do you offer free shipping?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we offer free standard shipping on all US orders over $75. For orders under $75, standard shipping is a flat rate of $6.95. We're working on expanding our free shipping threshold and international shipping options. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about shipping promotions and new delivery options.

Question 13

Do you ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

Currently we ship within the United States only. We're actively working on expanding to Canada, the UK, and the EU in the coming months. If you're outside the US and would like to be notified when international shipping becomes available, please sign up for our newsletter or send us a message through our contact page — your interest genuinely helps us prioritize which regions to launch in first.

Question 14

How is my order packaged?

Accepted Answer

We package every order with care and with the environment in mind. Products are wrapped in recycled tissue paper and nestled in a compostable mailer or recycled cardboard box. We use paper tape and avoid single-use plastics wherever possible. Fragile items are protected with recycled paper padding. Every package includes a handwritten thank-you card and a small card explaining the story behind your products' ingredients.

Question 15

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all BeeWellness products. If you're not completely happy with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right — whether that's a full refund, an exchange, or a store credit. We ask that returned products be at least 50% full so we can assess quality. Products that arrive damaged or defective are eligible for a full refund or replacement regardless of how much has been used.

Question 16

How do I start a return or exchange?

Accepted Answer

To initiate a return or exchange, please visit our Contact page and send us a message with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team responds within 1–2 business days. We'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days and will appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Question 17

What if my order arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

We're so sorry if your order arrived in less than perfect condition. Please take a photo of the damaged packaging and product and send it to us via our Contact page within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement immediately at no charge — no need to return the damaged item. We take packaging quality seriously and use your feedback to improve our shipping methods.

Question 18

Can I use BeeWellness products during pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

We recommend consulting your OB-GYN or midwife before introducing any new skincare products during pregnancy or breastfeeding. While our ingredients are natural and minimally processed, some botanical extracts and essential oils may not be suitable during pregnancy. Our team is happy to provide a full ingredient list for any product so you can review it with your healthcare provider. Your safety and your baby's safety are our top priority.

Question 19

How do I know which product is right for my skin type?

Accepted Answer

All three BeeWellness products are formulated to work across skin types, but here's a general guide: The Golden Serum is ideal for dry, dull, or mature skin seeking radiance and hydration. The Propolis Elixir is best for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin needing barrier support and blemish control. The Honey Balm suits all skin types as a targeted treatment for dry patches, lips, and cuticles. If you're unsure, start with the Propolis Elixir — it's our most universally loved product. You can also reach out via our Contact page for a personalized recommendation.

Question 20

How long before I see results?

Accepted Answer

Skincare results vary by individual, skin type, and consistency of use. Most customers notice improved hydration and skin texture within 1–2 weeks of daily use. More significant changes — like reduced fine lines, improved tone, and clearer skin — typically become visible after 4–6 weeks of consistent use. We always say: give your skin a full 30 days before judging a new product. Skin cell turnover takes approximately 28 days, so that's the minimum time needed to see meaningful change.

Question 21

Are your products dermatologist-tested?

Accepted Answer

All BeeWellness formulas undergo independent safety assessments and are tested for skin compatibility before launch. While we don't make specific dermatologist-endorsed claims, our products are developed in collaboration with cosmetic chemists and reviewed by licensed estheticians. We conduct patch testing and stability testing on every formula. If you have a specific skin condition such as rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis, we recommend consulting your dermatologist before adding new products to your routine.
